You should ensure that you have adequate travel insurance before your holiday. You should have sufficient insurance cover for medical expenses, personal liability, baggage and personal effects, money, trip cancellation and delayed departure. If you are unsure of what policy you should be choosing, or how much you would expect to pay, there are a number of aggregator websites where you can input your travel details and compare policies.
